Who we are

Voxnote is provided by Xizhen Information Technology (wuxi) Co., Ltd, the data controller for the service. Contact us at [email protected].

Information we process

We process account and authentication details; notes, recordings, transcripts, summaries, selected text, prompts and AI responses; sync and upload metadata; subscription entitlements supplied by Apple; support messages; and limited device, log, security and usage-limit data.

Purposes and legal bases

We use information to provide and secure the service, sync and recover content, transcribe audio, create notes, answer questions, verify entitlements, support users, prevent abuse and meet legal duties. Depending on your region, our bases are performance of our contract, legitimate interests, consent where required, and compliance with law.

AI and service providers

Content submitted for transcription, summarization, translation or AI questions may be processed by infrastructure, storage, authentication, analytics, transcription and AI providers acting for us. We send only what is reasonably needed for the requested function and contractually require appropriate protection.

Cloud storage and retention

Content you choose to sync is stored on your device and in cloud infrastructure, including object storage, while your account is active. Deleted content and account data are removed from active systems within a reasonable operational period; encrypted backups and security, billing or audit records may remain for a limited period where needed for recovery, fraud prevention or law.

Sharing and international transfers

We do not sell or rent personal information. We disclose it to processors, Apple for App Store transactions, parties you direct us to, and authorities or advisers when legally required or needed to protect rights and safety. Processing may occur outside your country; where required, we use contractual and other lawful transfer safeguards.

Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards, including encrypted transport, access controls, credential protection and operational monitoring. No storage or transmission method is completely secure.

Your rights and choices

You can choose what to record and sync, edit or delete notes, manage Apple subscriptions, and request access, correction, export, restriction, objection or deletion of cloud account data. You may also withdraw consent and complain to your local data protection authority where applicable. Delete your account in the app or email [email protected]; we may verify identity before acting.

Children

Voxnote is not directed to children under 13 or the higher minimum age required in their region, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information.

Website, changes and contact
